Nancy was nominated for The Oglethorpe Award, the highest award given to a Civic Leader, by the National Guard Association of Georgia in 2019.
In addition to the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations, Nancy serves on the Board of the GA National Guard Foundation, recognized as an official support organization of the Georgia National Guard. She provides guidance for our marketing efforts and printing needs through Graphic Vision, Inc. She brings her energy to numerous events here at Joint Force Headquarters, including deployment send-offs and ‘welcome home’ returns.
She has been involved in organizing and attending numerous community events that included White Water Park, cornhole tournaments, cook-outs and more! The "Red, White & You" Online "Live" Auction took place in December 2020! Truly an unbelievable event that surpassed all expectations and brought successful financial support for the Soldiers and Airmen of the Georgia National Guard facing unexpected emergencies and financial hardships.
